Glad you like it. I just don't have time to keep this blog up and constantly deleting spam (LOTS of spam) and the occasional flames for a blog I don't have time for just isn't the best use of my time. I may end up leaving a few recipes up with comments disabled.

Hey there!
I tried this recipe last night and didn't have oyster sauce. I subbed chicken stock and it was still quite good. I think the mushrooms and the timing of when they go in the wok is key. It adds moisture that is needed by the time they go in the pan. Thanks for posting!. If you have folks flaming you, that's what the delete key is for! Blog on! I'll read and link! ~Regina

I can't believe I have to keep saying this: this is NOT AN AUTHENTIC RECIPE. Also, I am not going to come into your kitchen and force you to use my recipe, so please keep the nasty comments to yourself.

I have deleted two insulting comments.

I wonder what the world would be like if no one ever tried variations on traditional recipes... I guess we'd still be hitting chunks of zebra meat with rocks...
I tend to like my pesto a little coarser for more textural variety--something you can do is process each ingredient separately to the desired fineness and then mix the ingredients together by hand. Still saves a lot of time over chopping it with a knife, but can save it from getting to paste-like. I like using the processor to 'chunk' the cheese as well as opposed to grating, it gives it a really nice texture.

I have a lot of foods that I hate. It's bad. I use to be horrorbile when I was little, but now its a little better. It really sucks when other people interfere with it and make me feel like I am making their lives so bad because it makes them worry. Its me, my issue, so they should leave me ALONE about my eating habits. The list of foods I hate eating is plain cheese etc., Ketchup mustard, hamburgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches, unusual mixtures of veggies, stews etc. In the long run by cutting out horrorbile meat for myself i am probably doing myself a favor. I usually make myself a second dinner at my house too.. and then i get yelled out by my parents, but you know its their fault for letting get picky. I actually hate the part of going to my grandparent's house because they always bring my pickiness up and make way worst than it is and then they ask well WHAT do you like?! I about just wanna run away and cry. Apparently its a stress on their shoulders psh yeah right it shouldnt be anyone elses problem besides MINE. Even bringing my pickiness up makes me wanna cry because i feel like such a burden to people in my family. I will never understand why people care if i am a picky eater and try to make me feel like crap. I'm glad that someone else has the same feelings towards food that i do.
